This is another quilt started as a challenge quilt with New Horizon Quilters. The challenge idea came from Diana Swim Wessel's book Inspiration Odyssey, That Patchwork Place, 1996.

This was a 2-part challenge:

  1. each participant made a 36" diameter circular "bull's-eye" quilt top, using some of the same fabric
  2. each bull's-eye was then cut into eight irregular pie-shaped pieces. Each member received a part of each original bull's-eye and reassembled those pieces into a quilt.

I decided to make my Bulls-Eye into a "Bull's Heart", since 'everyone knows' I hate heart-shapes.
