I started "Mr. Festus" in a class with Charlotte Warr Andersen at the 1996 NC Quilt Symposium. "Mr. Festus" was included in Charlotte's book Focus on Features: Life-like Portrayals in Applique". |

is a picture of our cat Festus. He looked so handsome, I had to make
a quilt for him. It was truly a 'labor of love', since hand applique
is NOT my preferred technique!
